HIER 5,175 Quadratmeter Okkupation *Diploma*
»HIER« is a mixture of map and magazine, a so called »mapazine« with a special folding technique
that allows you to flip throught the medium in any direction. Up and down, forth and back.
The first issue of »HIER« dedicates its 5,175 square meters to the idea of occupying, reconquering
and reactivating urban public space. It is all about heimat- and micro-universes that automatically
emerge whenever people start to interact with their urban everyday environment. They occupy the
city, leave their traces and by that – accidentally or not – influence and change the cityscape.
This diploma was done in collaboration with Maria Joachim. We additionally made a documentation
which reveals the working process, shows making-of pictures and reflects the development of »HIER«
from the first ideas to the final project. >>see here
